On November 3rd 2023, figures from the world of sport gathered at The Grosvenor Hotel in Park Lane, London to raise money through GroceryAid's Sporting Lunch. London Welsh Male Voice Choir were there, conducted by Edward to help the cause. Watch the video opposite for the details!

In this new recording of contemporary works for saxophone and piano, Max Goldberg and Annabel Thwaite present a programme of contemporary works by European, American and Australian composers, including the world premiere recording of Welsh composer Edward-Rhys Harry's The Ballad of Lady Barham, the philanthropist who established schools and churches in the Gower peninsula through her own funding. Max Goldberg demonstrates the lyrical and expressive qualities of the saxophone as a solo instrument throughout this recording..Click on the pictures to buy it!

In April, Harlow Chorus performed the premiere performance of Edward's short cantata, The Nazarene. We received this message from an audience member: "Your piece, The Nazarene, was absolutely stunning and really special! I was bowled over. Your music made me feel as if I were there, with Christ. So powerful and beautiful!"

February saw Edward directing the London Welsh Male Voice Choir at Westminster Cathedral, with special guests, The Priests. The evening raised over £32000 in funds for the 'Friends of The Holy Land' charity.

This year's Llandeilo Literature Festival included an interview, curated by Dr Lyn Davies, on Edward's book 'The Listening Conductor'. Feedback from the well attended session included the following quote: " Thank you for appearing at the Llandeilo LitFest. Your session was informative and entertaining!"

London Welsh Male Voice Choir has been named as one of the seven winning entries of Classic FM and Making Music's national search for the UK's best amateur music making groups. The choir won with their performance of 'A Blessing for Bendigeidfran', the 3rd movement from 'Four Welsh Psalms' composed by Edward-Rhys Harry, to words by Grahame Davies. More Here:

On Sunday September 19th, Edward was presented as the winner of the Glanville Jones Award for outstanding contribution to Welsh music by the Welsh Music Guild

Edward took part in an 'Instagram Live' event with the National Theatre, along with Marc Tritchler and Donato Wharton, where they discussed creating the sound and music for NT's production of Under Milk Wood. You can catch up with the video here: https://www.instagram.com/nationaltheatre/

The National Theatre re-opens this summer, as the pandemic restrictions are lifted, with a new production of Under Milk Wood by Dylan Thomas, additional material by Siân Owen.
